This is you

Your body's changing, and you want to feel like you again.

Somewhere in your late 30s or 40s things started to shift — the middle, the energy, the way your body responds to all the things that used to work. You're not chasing a number on the scales. You want to feel strong, toned and properly like yourself again.

  • Your body composition has shifted through perimenopause or menopause, especially around the middle.
  • You've tried the cardio and the diets, and the results just don't seem to hold anymore.
  • You don't want a bootcamp screaming at you, and you really don't want to get hurt.
  • You've walked into gyms and quietly felt like they weren't really meant for someone like you.
  • You want to feel strong, toned and like yourself again — not smaller, just more capable.

How BodyTone actually works

Real strength, smart progressions, built for your body now.

Muscle is your anti-ageing tool

Building and keeping lean muscle is what creates real tone and protects your metabolism — far more than endless cardio ever will. After about 35, and faster through menopause as oestrogen falls, muscle slips away. BodyTone's hypertrophy focus is built to put it back, with smart progressions that meet you where you are.

Controlled and fully coached — not a smashfest

This is a lower, controlled intensity with a qualified coach running the whole hour — not a high-octane CrossFit class. Movements are joint-friendly and scaled, so you work at your own level and progress only when you're ready. It runs two days a week, with an AM and a PM class each day to fit around work and family.

Why this matters now

The midlife years are exactly when strength pays off most.

This isn't a fad or a quick fix — it's proven strength training, honestly coached. Here's what the research strongly supports about training through your 30s, 40s and 50s, and why we'd love you to come and feel it for yourself.

  1. Protect your bones

As oestrogen declines, bone loss speeds up — it's why so many women hear 'osteoporosis' from their doctor. Resistance training is one of the most evidence-backed ways to help maintain and build bone, and BodyTone is exactly that, coached and scaled to you.

  2. Keep your muscle

Muscle loss accelerates through menopause, and muscle is what gives you tone, a healthier metabolism and everyday strength. BodyTone is built to hold onto it and build it back — one of the best things you can do for how you look and feel.

  3. Built around you

Controlled intensity, every movement scaled, a qualified coach running the hour, and you working at your own pace. It's not a bootcamp and it's not CrossFit — it's the calm, strength-focused end of our timetable, made for exactly where you're at.

  4. Your first week's free

Genuinely $0 — no card, no obligation, one free week per person. Come and feel what it's like before you decide anything. We'd far rather you experience it than take our word for it.

Let's clear the air

The honest answers to what you're thinking.

  • “Will I get bulky?”

No — that's a myth that puts so many women off the very thing that would help them. Strength training builds tone and capability, not bulk. You'll look and feel lean and strong, with the kind of shape that comes from actually having muscle. That's the whole point of BodyTone.

  • “Am I too unfit or too old to start?”

No on both counts — and honestly, 35 to 55 is arguably the best time there is to start. Everything is scaled to the body you have today, so being exactly where you are now is the reason to begin, not a barrier. The members who get the most out of this often wish they'd started sooner.

  • “Is it just like CrossFit?”

No. BodyTone is controlled, lower-intensity strength training with smart progressions — the calmer, strength-focused end of our timetable. There's no clock screaming at you and no chasing a faster time. It's real training, run at a pace that's right for you, with a coach the whole way.

  • “I'm in perimenopause or menopause — is this right for me?”

It's one of the best things you can do. Strength training helps protect your bone and muscle, and research strongly supports it for body composition, energy and feeling strong through the transition. It's fully coached and scaled to you. If you've got specific health concerns, your GP's a good first chat — then come and train.

  • “I'm too busy.”

BodyTone runs just two days a week, with an AM and a PM class each day, so you can fit it around work and family. Two well-coached sessions a week is genuinely enough to change how you look and feel. You don't need to live at the gym to get strong.

I spent years doing cardio and diets and feeling like my body had stopped listening. A few months of BodyTone and I'm carrying the shopping like it's nothing, my clothes fit how I want them to, and I feel strong and like me again. I just wish I'd started sooner.
