Every movement is scaled

Every movement is scaled — a push-up against a wall, a squat to a chair, a run as a walk. There's no separate 'beginners' room hidden out the back: you train in the real class, beside experienced members, doing your version of the same work from day one. You start exactly where you are.

Coached, and never anonymous

You're coached the whole time — a coach manages your intensity so you can't blow yourself up, starting you with a short, friendly Fundamentals onboarding. Technique first, no heroics. And we're a small gym: the coaches learn your name and notice when you've been away, which is exactly why people who've quit everywhere else manage to stick here.

We're a small, owner-led gym — not a faceless franchise. The coaches are properly qualified, the onboarding is built for nervous beginners, and the whole place is set up so you can't get lost or left behind.

  1. Everything is scaled

    Every single movement has an easier version built in. You start exactly where you are today — and beginners train right alongside experienced members, doing the same workout at their own level. Nobody is singled out.

  2. Fundamentals onboarding

    A short, supportive start (two sessions — group $99 or private $160) where a coach teaches you the basics one-on-one or in a small group. You walk into your first class already knowing what to do.

  3. Coached, not supervised

    A coach manages your intensity so you can't overdo it. Technique comes first and intensity is earned — which is exactly how you avoid the injuries that end most fresh starts.

  4. Optional nutrition coaching

    Fat loss is food and training together. If you want help with the food side, Scott Richardson and accredited nutritionist Matt Williams run a Complete Nutrition program. Entirely optional, never pushed.

No deep end, no surprises. Here's exactly how it goes — at your pace, with someone beside you the whole way.

  1. Free consultation

    We sit down and just talk — where you're at, what you'd like to change, anything you're nervous about. No workout, no weigh-in, no pressure. Just a friendly chat and an honest plan.

  2. Fundamentals

    A short, supportive onboarding (group $99 or private $160) that teaches you the core movements and shows you how scaling works. You start confident instead of overwhelmed.

  3. Your first classes

    You join real classes and do your scaled version of the work, with a coach watching out for you. You'll be surprised how quickly it stops feeling scary and starts feeling like yours.

  4. Settle into a rhythm

    Find your groove on 2 Classes Per Week ($38.50/wk) or Unlimited ($55/wk). Add nutrition coaching if and when you want it. Two sessions a week is genuinely enough to start changing.

  • “I'm too unfit to even start.”

    There is no fitness level you need to reach before you're allowed in. We start people from a standing start all the time — that's exactly what scaling is for. A coach gives you a version of the workout that fits you today, and we build from there. Being unfit is the reason to start, not a reason you can't.

  • “Won't everyone be fitter than me and judging me?”

    Almost everyone in that room remembers their own first day, and nobody is watching you. People are focused on their own work, and because everything is scaled, there's nothing to compare. We're a small, friendly gym — far more likely to cheer you on than judge you.

  • “What if I injure myself?”

    That's exactly what the coaching is for. A coach manages your load and intensity so you can't overdo it, and we always build technique before adding effort. We start you slowly and deliberately — done this way, training is one of the safest things you can do for your body.

  • “I've failed at this before — why would this be different?”

    Because last time you were probably on your own. Here you get a proper onboarding, a coach who knows your name, and a small community that notices when you're away. The support is the difference — it's what turns a fresh start into a habit instead of another false start. CrossFit looks terrifying from the outside, but scaled and coached, it's just movement that meets you where you are.

I almost didn't walk in. I was sure I'd be the biggest, unfittest person there and everyone would stare. Instead a coach learned my name on day one and gave me a version of everything I could actually do. A year later I've lost real weight, I can keep up with my kids, and this is the first thing I haven't quit.
